I want to build my strength up, be able to lift more when I work out, but which is it, less weight with more repetitions or more weight with less repetitions? I’ve heard it both ways.
Answer:
More resistance, lower reps builds muscle and muscle = strength.
the more weight the better for strength, unless it hurts, you should use a weight you are comfortable with but you should still have to use a good bit of effort to make 15-20 reps
